Doesn't make sense. What he's played his way into is a player that has value to the team he is on. - MJL
Don't disagree, I didn't say tade him, I said he now has value.
Do you trade him as part of package that is a clear upgrade for the team? Yes, you look at that...
beyond that, let him develop |

Gerbe's (frank)ing ripped. Sanheim's a giraffe. - Tomahawk
Gerbe has a career lined up for when he retires from the NHL.
He's going to stand on top of wedding cakes, or be Mike Bloomberg's stunt double. |

I just take when it's posted that a player has played his way into being a trade chip in the middle of a discussion on potential trades, is suggesting using a player as a trade chip.

Like you didn't see a role for NAK in the NHL. - Feanor
NAK a pleasant surprise. I subscribe to AHL TV and watch many LV games. NAK is performing better up here than he did with LV, where he was underwhelming. He is making a strong case for a bottom 6 role. |

To be fair players didnt get out of the way and then Sanheim fell because he slipped on a glove that was on the ice - Richieattack18

It was good to see Sanheim take on Gerbe after that hit on G. It’s great that the guys are standing up for each other as it seems like that was missing the last few years. |

His previous call ups were also underwhelming. He flipped a switch somewhere along the line.

I get it but you have take into consideration all of the posts. You can see where I said I prefer they stand pat. I am not a fan of short term vision when it comes to a trade. It has to make sense, if it is a clear upgrade which would probably include a player around 25 years old coming back, the Flyers don't need to get older, just better.

I still don't understand why people have issues with Hagg?
He isn't ever going to win the Norris but I have 0 problems with him in the 5-6 role.
Stable, solid , predictable game with some physicality.

I can imagine Sanheim thinking what the hell am I going to do with this little guy. You can see his hesitation. |

as for playoffs, i can almost guarantee a flyers playoff series victory.
after carrying 50% of the season with 4 seats(80 tix) for a decade plus, i downgraded to 35% of 2 seats for this season.(30 tix)
only fitting then that flyers make some playoff noise this year just to spite me. |

I don't think many have issues, just prefer upgrade if available. Hagg has gotten better each year. |

In my opinion he did not intend to get into an altercation. He was surprised by how aggressive Gerbe was when he threw a punch. It caught him off guard. |

He’s playing his best hockey. After the game you have no idea that he played which is exactly what you want from your #6 |

It's like all the times my golden retriever walks up to toy dogs, thinking they're harmless fun. With a flip of a switch they go Cujo w/o any warning, and my big ass dog is running away and cowering.

Yeah. Someone on term, mid twenties. An interesting name would be timo meier, at 6 mil per for the next 3 seasons. Keep in mind San Jose gave their first round pick to OTT in the Karrlson deal, which looks like it might be a top 5 lotto pick lollol. |

I don't know what that means. They had just had a 98 point season and had tons of cap space. Their 2nd best LW was Lindblom who had only played 27 games. - Feanor
So you thought we were pure contenders then |

Ghost and a #1 for Duclair and Pageau. That would replenish the depth the Flyers lost up front. And it fits cap wise. - PLindbergh31

The first round picks he traded off the top of my head were for Versteeg, and Eminger. Both awful. And for Timonen and Hartnell good.
Any others? - PLindbergh31
