Let me say something. Was Vermette worth a 1st in 2015 ? Now, its 2020, and a team has a good start to the season after playing VERY well last year. A good chance to get in playoffs again and make some noise, then a couple of injuries happen. What are you gonna do, throw your hands up and say, oh well we will wait 'til next year. ? I don't think so. Waddell (Canes GM) knows what Hawks and other non playoff teams have, and they want to improve. NOW !! There absolutely is a great chance a deal can be done for one or multiple players. Be sure of it.

Yep, this is a huge TDL for him. He has some really coveted assets, lets see what he does. If he flops this, then he deserves all the derision he gets despite his few excuse mongers who reside here. Then again, if he kicks ass and turns these guys into valuable futures we should admit that as well.

Because LOOK AT THE MARKET. What are similar players going for? DUH! Other than goalie, the price is being set. If Bowman gets way less then he failed, period.

Since I have been watching the Leafs have managed 2-3 shots. Canes are smothering them

The Leafs' d is far worse than the Hawks. Murphy and Keith are better than anyone playing. Maatta and Muzzin are about equal. Holl gets the edge over Gus. Special K

Sandin and Boqvist are a wash. I have no idea what has happened to Dermott cause I liked him but he seems to have regressed this season
