Gus - no, I read he's not travelling with the team.

Crawford starts, Lehner is gone.

Saad plays and stays.

- DarthKane

I think saad gets traded too , the time to move him is now .
Too be honest I'd like to see Stan move both Crawford and Lehner and grab as many picks and prospects .

They say this draft is very good and deep

Could this comment section be any more lame? Like c’mon people...really? Why is there always so much animosity between posters here? Some posters are way too sensitive and clearly take these conversations and this blog in general way too seriously. Smh

Well if Entwhistle was pulled from the lineup yesterday due to a trade going down, tonight Rockford has a 6pm game so I am checking whose name is omitted on the line up card

But as for Carlsson recall: had he been recalled after tonight"s AHL tilt then suits up tomorrow vs Dallas - that would be three games in three nights

- jhawk59

Entwistle was just injured but nothing serious. He's expected to play again tonight or tomorrow.

Happy to see Carlsson finally get his cup of coffee. Let's hope he actually gets into a game unlike Lankinen, McCoshen, and Hagel who have all been recalled once or twice each but never suited up.

Seems like more teams are using that “push-em-back” PP entry (altho no one calls it that except for Foley) - did the Hawks develop that, or did they get it from another team?

Come on HawkintheD I try not to disrespect you or comment in a negative way during your spats with other users. Paul always has something negative to say , I'd even go as far as to say he looks to instigate .

I'm not perfect and I'll bet neither is anyone else on this board , but we all come here to share our opinions , knowledge , vent , and inform ourselves.

Anywho I have no hard feelings towards anyone , including you sir

What have you read or do you know regarding what Colorado is willing to part ways with? Last I heard they had interest in Crawford?

So saying "you're funny" is now an insult. I've seen everything now. No one called anyone a name...yet you refer to me as a loser. You have a nice day.
- NamedSources

If saying your funny is not an insult, then I misinterpreted. And I am sorry to stir up anything. Just a matter of interpretation apparently. I only mean "looser" if it [yout funny remark] was meant as an insult

You clarified it was not meant in derision as an insult. Thank you for the clarification. I didn't understand the remark initially, so I regret my corresponding comment. Sorry. You I hope have a great rest of the day

And on another subject, Entwhistle is playing tonight for Rockford at Milwaukee. Some very highly rated German restaurants in Milwaukee which I
I have enjoyed over the years prior to a Brewers or Rockford at Admirals game.

Stones or Beatles?
- Angotti

I have almost 20,000 songs on iTunes / iPod - room for Stones, Beatles, rock, R&B, country, blues, hot jazz, swing, show tunes....

There’s a lot of good stuff out there.

Aww c'mon that's a tough choice both are great bands and each had so many great songs.

Hard choice if I had to choose I'd say the Beatles only because they where a movement at the time.

Actually I would prefer they have interest in Lehner. I think he's a good goalie but I just don't see him being resigned.

If the Hawks do I could see it being for too much/too long, so I'd rather they sign Crawford to a team friendly short term deal or as Darth suggested, signing Markstrom in the offseason if he could be had at a decent rate.

Sorry, I don't have sources or know anything where that's concerned.

Always a great topic and I don't think there's a wrong answer. Like Taylor mentions, the Beatles were a movement/phenomenon, but the Stones had longevity and continued putting out great albums through the 70's.

Punt.

Yea this is a hard one. I give the Beatles a slight edge, because they actually influenced the Stones. The Beatles were THE BAND that broke America during a time of teen idol nonsense rule. From there it was on like donkey kong.

The Stones get respect because they stayed together and as you said had a longer career. I think the Beatles could have had staying power, but the dynamics of the band were much different and the creative forces in the Beatles all wanted their own space which lead to the breakup (the Yoko thing was only a part of those dynamics).

The Stones really had only 1 creative force, and that was the Mick/Keith combination, the most lethal songwriting duo ever. But Ron Wood, Charlie watts, etc. were not bursting at the seems to leave the band and write their own music, they liked being part of the Stones and ya know what NOT A BAD (frank)ing gig.

Both bands rule planet earth.
