This hits a lot of the points I have been thinking about.
If Skinner isn't buying into the system, why should he be rewarded by putting him on the top line?
Krueger has said that the reason Miller has been scratched several times earlier this season is because he was having trouble adjusting to the system. Now that he has been playing regularly he's been playing good.
If Skinner wasn't the $9m dollar man, Krueger likely would have sat him a few games, and it would have been deserving.
A lot of clamoring to bring in a guy like Lavi. Sure he's had some success. Won the Cup and lost in the finals twice. He's made the playoffs 10 times in 18 seasons as a head coach and has been fired 3 times. He's no better than Bylsma or Babcock.
Gallant would be a good choice, but honestly does anyone think that a coach who's been fired undeservingly twice in 3 years even consider coming to a team that fires coaches every two years?
Torts is the ideal hire, but unfortunately he's not available.

Krueger isn't afraid to hold guys accountable and their usage may be based more on how the players are buying in rather than how they performed in the past or how much they're being paid.

All of the hockey world had us projected between 80-85 points, and guess what, we're on pace for 85 points. A strong finish to the season and we could exceed all the experts projections and everyone here will still be pıssed.

I for one still have faith in JBotts and Krueger and although it's more of a Bills thing, I trust the process.

What he did was build an unbalanced roster, filled with assumptions for unproven and average players. That's what he did. The players aren't "sh1tty" necessarily, but he lacked serious foresight in providing balance AND enough talent.

Paxton get's hurt a lot and i've never been a fan of Tanaka.

Louis Domingue has been placed on waivers.
This comes after a report that Domingue will be held out of Thursday's game for precautionary reasons. It's entirely possible that Domingue will both clear waivers and be traded. The reason is that any team which acquires him after he cleared waivers can then stash him in the AHL without having to risk exposing him to waivers themselves. That gives any team acquiring him some added flexibility.
