Skinner has a NTC...would he waive to go to Chicago?

Realistically it would cost Mitts a 1st Skinner and probably another 2nd or 3rd round pick to even start this convo

The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired Phil Varone from Montreal.
Varone has four goals and 14 points in 27 AHL games this season. The 29-year-old forward has 97 career NHL games under his belt.

Well from what I read Skinner wanted to be closer to home and since Toronto wasn't an option Buffalo makes the most sense.

His family gets to see him play all the time

A move to the West would probably limit that

Some say yes, some say no. Tampa always finds ways to keep there players.

Yes they do, winning does that

Somehow they still have good prospects yet to see the NHL.

I don't understand

Louis Domingue has been placed on waivers.
This comes after a report that Domingue will be held out of Thursday's game for precautionary reasons. It's entirely possible that Domingue will both clear waivers and be traded. The reason is that any team which acquires him after he cleared waivers can then stash him in the AHL without having to risk exposing him to waivers themselves. That gives any team acquiring him some added flexibility.

Where's the one that says Carter Hutton on waivers ?

Personally, I would like to see Lindy Ruff brought back into the organization in some capacity.

Not just because he was once a Sabre and once a coach.
But because, he was good at his job.
This organization misses having people that are good at their jobs.

Lindy is valuable in my opinion.

They have good talent evaluators, they always seem to find a player in the middle ends that just become good hockey players.
Just think we took Brycen Martin and 4 picks later they got Point.

Strange to say “great two-way defender” then follow it up by saying “doesn’t have high-end offense”. Unless “two-way” referred to playing right and left sides.
Anywho, it is nice to read kind words about the player.

Means his transition game and passing are great (can confirm watching here in Sioux Falls) but doesn’t have a booming shot and also plays great defense (not knock you down type, but insane stick work and puck retrieval) if that helps.

to be honest, I don't know. How many times do we keep changing coaches and gm's ? That hasn't worked so now you move players, some that you didn't want to move.
- SABRES 89

At this point, I agree.

I'm all for everyone aside from Jack and Dahlin.

At this point, trade them all.

Maybe I'm too rash, but enough is enough.

That's the kind of thinking that made Marv Levy a GM.

I guess we’ll find out for real in a few years. It was disappointing he didn’t make the WJ team, as that would be a good way to see him against good competition. Maybe next year, though.

Let me be clear, Botterill is in over his head. I'm not defending him but people saying he's needs to be fired because he hasn't moved a d man yet is comical.
- SABRES 89

He doesn't need to be fired because he hasn't moved a dman.

He needs to be fired because he is going into year 3 come May and we are flirting with last place still and the future is not bright.

Pegula thinks otherwise, nobody between Botterill and Pegula so you might just say, Botterill is the man in charge.
