Did we get Brad Richards yet? |

I guess I'm wrong then. Are his analytics bad this year? - mhp
Yeah, i mean i get the point you are making about him playing for bad teams. But his stats are bad relative to his own teammates.
The last 15 games or so they've changed Risto's usage (more favourable) and his numbers are still worse than Jokiharju, McCabe and even Montour. That's without factoring in he's got the largest cap hit right now |

Krueger cant make a 2c out of thin air.
Moving Johansson to center was the best he could do with what talent he was given.
- Boss34
when was casey given a shot with them
casey had the most talent
e-rod, sobotka, larsson, asplund
all of those are better options then a winger
the coach went the veino/coho route to start the season, team played well for a dozen games and then he did not want to deviate from it
the last 38 games, the team has the third worst record in the nhl, fact
so because he caught lightning in a bottle, with good special teams to start the season, he should get a pass for being the third worst coach for the last 4 months?
I mean on one hand, everyone says he had nothing to work with
well he did, and he leaned on vets
and if you believe he had nothing to work with, then really the case is made to fire botts and then let the new gm figure out what to do with ralph
three years in, time to stop blaming murray
team is no better now then it was in 16-17

They both seem to have better numbers than him right now. Jokiharju has definitely lapped him, they see similar usage and Jokiharju sees less time with the top line than Ristolainen does. - Michael Ghofrani
Maybe if he wasn't playing with McCabe they might be better? |

Botterill is in a good spot, we have pieces that teams need and cap space in the offaseason, Jesus Christ that sounds really bad. |

.. And no PP time. Risto is simply below average in his own end and no one has been able to show otherwise. Four coaches, same performance. |

His numbers are actually at their best with McCabe. His usage is the core issue. His numbers were lights out with dahlin in sheltered minutes, but you can't be paying someone 5.4 million for that. |

Or, it was not offered to Botts.
There are other possibilities than Botts being an idiot, sucking, sitting on his hands.
He traded ROR for something he thought was right but was not. Perhaps he has learned from his mistake?
There just could be other reasons that NONE of know of. - TC4145

he had chemistry with sobotka
so flip sobotka and johansson
at least then you had a true center
another wasted season |
