He's a 1 or 2 center that Skinner needs, that's why. Not Bonino that couldn't make it as the number 2 center on the Pens.

How does the “system” explain Bonino, with worse linemates and no PP time having more points with only 36% ozone starts??

It would be 1 thing if RyJo had 33even strength points & Bonino had 23...
but it’s the other way around!!!

But getting a pass first playmaking center to pair with a finisher like skinner would go a long way in helping to provide that consistent secondary scoring that this team desperately needs. Waiting for one to develop while employing a stop gap is risky too albeit in a different way.
