That’s correct you don’t. He lets in a third and he’s coming out.

Great move or not, he flopped. No reason to poke check there.

If Elliott doesn't go for the poke check, that great move is a shot into the goalie's chest.

Again, easy to say from here.. Less easy to say when the goalie sees the puck bouncing.

I don't have a problem with that goal, sometimes the other player does their job.

The first goal IMO was poor positioning and less of a split second play then the second.

IMO with the puck bouncing, that makes a poke check an even lower percentage play. With the puck bouncing the best play is to wait on the shooter and stay square.

Fair enough, we just see it differently.

On to the second

That first goal was such a setback , one of the worst teams to get behind on.

This is not reactionary because I thought this when I first saw that Elliott was in goal. Why? Why did Hart not get the start? Doesn't make sense to me. With that being said, Elliott has to be better and that's not on the coach. Big game against a Metro opponent you're battling for a playoff start. Play the best players.

Hart sucks on the road. Elliott has beaten cbj twice this year. Seemed like a logical decision to me.

One of the few decisions I’ve been upset about. It was a really really bad decision.

I’m not sure about Elliot’s numbers in the road but it’s irrelevant. The team in general sucks on the road. Your best goalie is healthy and rested. Should’ve started.

What they make the playoffs and you back and forth based on the location? Stupid move.

Jackets sure force turnovers.
Such boring hockey to watch. 11 shots in goal thru almost 2 periods.
