I think coming to play in his home town with his buddy Tavares might just be what PK needs to get him motivated again. At $9 million per he'd be a no go for the Leafs though, unless there is heavy salary retention involved.

Andersen out-dueled Bishop (leader in SV% past 5 years) so that shows to the people saying Andersen can't outplay other top goalies, he can and he did.

1st goal, (Pysyk, a D playing RW), Dermott leaves him to chase a guy behind the net and the open player got the pass and scored. (D)

1st goal, Dallas player beats multiple Leafs standing around, beats Andersen 5-hole. Andersen might have been able to save this one but not solely his fault. (50)

Makes a huge goal line save that got reviewed and called no goal (even though it was over the line). Nonetheless, another example of Andersen making a difficult save for those who say he doesn't make them.

Basic depth moves to replenish the Marlies and give us call-up options.

I had high hopes for Marchment in training camp, but he didn't look effective in the few games he played with the Leafs. Could have injury problems too, long-term.

We got a little bit younger and picked up players with NHL experience for Marlies and a late round pick.
