Cheap stop gap move, but he ticks all the boxes for hand/size/TOI. - gravyface
Actually Severson has a pretty good contract and has a medium term contract at a reasonable price. He's more than a short term solution if he's played in the right spot.
But again, he's a 2nd pair RHD on a good team. If the Leafs get him and play him 25 minutes a night, he's going to be in over his head and they'll have another Zaitsev situation.
What they need to do is go out and get a Severson type, or Vantanen or Brodie or any other 2nd pair RHD and then keep that guy in his proper role.
Then figure out a way to get a real top pair RHD so everybody can play where they belong and nobody is in over their head. |

Think they could get a good deal on a guy like Gardiner? I wonder if Carolina is willing to give him up..... |

If Freddy keeps playing as bad as he has since he came back from his injury, we will miss the playoffs.
Would that gloomy scenario for this season detract from what Dubas has been trying to accomplish....absolutely not. |

Didn't really know anything about Malgin. So I got looking into it all and came out with only one conclusion. Duba's did pretty good. Speedy Fiesty versitile C/RW who can play up and down the lineup. Misused by the Panthers and asked for a trade to get a fresh start. Supposedly low risk possible high reward trade for Duba's. Sounds decent to me, its not like a lot was given up. Have no complaints here. |

The Toronto Globetrotters sure are fancy in the O zone. All the pretty passing and not getting a shot - cause you know......cant accept a garbage goal. There is alot of floating going on so Dubas may have to break up the band. |

Ya, he should be covering those wide open men out front.
We won’t agree on the tending being crappy.
I’ll end it there...it gets to exhausting. |

I can agree with that. Exhausting.
After back reading a couple pages, I can officially say this place has become nothing more than the spot to come to read absolutely ridiculous terrible ideas from complete idiots who think they know exactly what it takes to make the team successful, and devote their lives to relentlessly convincing fellow hockeybuzz members that the educated experienced professionals who do it for a living are just far to dimwitted to see what the hockeybuzz GMs effortlessly see.
With the odd great post about how stupid these people are chucked in the middle.
These boards are officially nothing more than UG and Max's arrogant text vomit.
Is there any other decent boards around that haven't been overrun by complete cretens like them? |
