Crow and Lehner are not the only two options. There are several others that are serviceable and UFA. IMO, they should not be spending a ton on the goalie position at this time.

Lehner holds all of the cards being UFA at end of the season. Overpay me now or I walk on April 5. Bowman's options are trade him by Monday, let him walk on April 5 or be part of a 30 team group who can sign him in the offseason.

So what's your 'best' in trying to extend him?
