From being one of the fastest team in the NHL we flipped flopped to become one of the slowest team in the last 4 years....it seems all the good teams made the adjustment by drafting and trading for players with good skating speed. Stan apparently didn't get the message that the NHL was moving in that direction

He’s 86 but was doing a book tour late last year. It’s not that I think he should be behind the bench but more of a consultant and mentor JC. Meet with him every few weeks, go over strategy etc..

He also orchestrated at minimum 2 Stanley cup championships, several good trades and good prospects. There are GM’s out there who are long tenured and have no championships but endure nonetheless.

Also, we don’t know how thick the drama is with McD. If the Blackhawks make a change it’s with President Hockey operations and bring in a guy with a real hockey pedigree and not a marketing pedigree. We are passed that point.

Let the new hockey guy make changes. It’ll probably take a year but by then we’ll be on the right track.

Hey guys! Fun fact you may find amusing in a gallows humor kind of way - stopped by to talk to my ticket rep last night. She told me that season ticket renewals are going out next week. Looked at her and wryly said “you’re timing there is epic!” She responded with the idea they are toying with of having Bowman call season ticket holders and I wanted to just lose it right there and then. Instead I just told her that while some might view it as a good thing, others wouldn’t. Sigh. So out of touch. I told her that we would rather have a clear strategy to get back to contention. Going to tell her today (when not at a table surrounded by a bunch of fans in a loud UC hallway) About what a lack of confidence there is that Bowman is the guy to to get it done.

What are they thinking with having Bowman call ticket holders? That’s probably not good for Bowman or the person getting the call.

You know something like that has to be his brain child, or at the very least, someone took it to him and he actually thinks it might be a good idea???!! been a very full week for me...have not been able to check in to the hawk buzz toy shop...

about 10 days ago I suggested the hawks would keep both lehner and craw but poor play could change things...

well we got the poor play and horsepoop february and something has to give now at the TDL...as powers said the players gave bowman every reason to waive the white flag and place out the for sale sign. unless he has a wink/wink agreement with lehner...ole lard ass has to go...

ADB scored 41 goals last season. Maybe the team thought he would have even better numbers going into his contract year and decided to lock him up before his demands became even bigger?

ADB is fine....just having a tough shooting percentage year and all goal scorers go through that

He'd be at 25g if he was at his avg around 15% instead of the 8% hes at. Hes still getting tons of chances, it just happens. I'd bank more on him being a 30-35g guy than a 15-20g going forward
