He's been bad man. No, we're not the '95 Devils either, but you can't honestly sit there and say that Andersen hasn't been a major problem this year.

Right now, he sits at .908 SV%. That's not his usual .917 but that dip is more related to the garbage defense in front of him and the garbage coaching that refuses to change how they play.

The Leafs play hockey to win games 5-4 (when they feel like it). To blame the goalie is 100% wrong and ignoring the real problem with this team. The system is designed for Andersen to stand on his head. It's a bad system and you can't blame him when the 18 guys in front of him refuse to show up game after game.

Injuries further complicated the D.

Find when Bernier was 7th in NHL SV% over a 5 year period among starters having faced the most shots and playing the 4th most games.

You won't find it because it never happened. Bernier, at best, had ONE season where he had top 10 numbers. Andersen has consistently been top 10 for the past 5 years.
