initially yes. and im the first to admit that Bergevin is the bigger issue and he hasn't exactly provided Julien with a top-notch roster, there's just no reason for them to be as bad as they are, especially defensively.

also i don't necessarily agree that it's his old style... this team's biggest issue is that it cannot defend. as a defence or as a 5-man unit. that's the one area you would expect an old-school guy to be able to succeed.

another things that's amazing to me is that they build these multi-goal leads (Arizona, Dallas, Detroit) and then as soon as the opposition picks up any momentum, it's just lights out.
