smart move by montreal, they acquired scandella for a 4th round pick from buffalo then traded scandella for a 2nd and a 4th to st. louis inside of 1.5 months at the deadline. everyone said scandella sucks, he could have definitely helped the leafs blue line.

I really wish the league would put a freeze on trades a week before deadline and then have a 24 hour window to make trades. Seems more trades being made leaning up to the deadline.
Create some excitement for the day. Every year I take the day off work to watch and it's getting harder harder to sit through. The rumours leaning up to that day would be flying.

Think the Kings should look at some deal that trades A Mart for Puljujarvi. Helps plug a hole in the Oilers defence with Klefbom out. Adds another young asset to the Kings.
