i would love to see the Canucks go after Miles Wood. Younger, faster, cost controlled, fiesty. Could imagine him being on a line with Roussel and causing lots of havoc for the other team.

I was in favour of him, but didn't realize his cap hit was $2.75m.. without paying the exta price to move some money out I don't think he is an option. Especially if they want to keep Toffoli, MacEwan would be a more cost-effective bottom 6 going forward IMO

TBH, JB is my boy....I'd suck him dry if it would help, but I do not understand why you wouldnt let MacEwen play the 4th line RW and run with it until next season. I dont see a need for Simmonds.

I can see the appeal for the playoffs, but Simmonds has been on a steep decline for several years and I cannot see where he would fit effectively. The rights to a long long shot prospect like Zhukenov would be the price I'd be talking

Rathbone is a prospect I'd like to see them ride or die with. Seems like a good character kid and skates well. I think he's one of those swing-for-the-fences types that is worth investing development time into and see what they get
