My only hope is that JR is targeting a player with term. I know the big names are gone, but JR is a sneaky mofo.
- Hockey66

Possible but we really don't need a LD with term. Now if it's a RW then ok.

Well my wife has recently come down with a case of the morning sickness so she’ll be in don’t touch me more for about a month and a half.

Who knows, he said he was gonna wait 48 hours till the deadline and he would know but it's all going to be gone. He'll have to come up with something now if Dumo isn't ready. It's really concerning with Dumo now.

Yeah idk it’s not like there is going to be some miracle in the next few days with dumo since he isn’t even skating yet. Like hockey66 said hopefully he’s got some sneaky plan up his sleeve to get someone. I’m sick of this jj/letang bs it doesn’t make any sense.

Maybe not if they think Riikola or POJ can play 3LD next year (probably a good guess).

Let's say that D is off the table. Do we target a RW or a C? I say C.

This is what I'm thinking, too. Also a very good chance he comes back at some point and stinks for the rest of the season/playoffs.

Imo riko can easily play 3ld, and poj around developing, waiting for Injuries.

I’d say rw as we have enough centres with McCann and bjug. A natural right shot would be first choice I think.

Haha yeah. 6 months into marriage at 26 isn’t really how we drew it up, but fortunately she’s been climbing the ladder at her company fairly quickly and my security clearance just went through two weeks ago so I’ll finally be able to start my career with a solid salary here shortly, and my parents are a very generous support network if we ever get strained, so we’ll be ok!

Yup. If prime ek65 looked human after the same injury doesn’t look good for dumo. Must of been a setback or something.

I feel like that kind of injury inhibits EK’s strengths more than Dumo’s though. His skating will be effected for sure, but Dumo’s game is basically all predicated on fundamentals. He doesn’t leverage athleticism and offensive creativity to be effective.

I wonder what the Pens would have to do to entice NSH to trade Ekholm.

JJ for Suter with 50% retained. Do it, JR.

Guerin has a “don’t trade for jj” clause

Right handed RW. That way next year or later this season McCann can take the 3c role.

Yeah, let's trade for a 35 year old dman who's still more than JJ at 50% retained and signed until he's 97 years old.

Ehh the Coyotes are sucking and the Preds goaltending is back. I see Nashville in they have too good a team if Rinne/Saros bring them good tending.

I never realized Ekholms contract. That is bonkers, they would be incredibly dumb to move him. But id absolutely take him. That's a pipe dream if I've ever seen one.

Kings and Knights have a deal in place for Martinez at 2 2nd round picks. I'd stay out of this market. Plus, jim did say he waiting until the last 48hrs

Just read that from McKenzie. I guess it's not finalized as of yet, but he's being held out of the game tonight. Good move for Vegas. Their defense is poop.

That is nuts. I don't think Martinez is that good. He's probably better than Scandella, but I'd take Dillon over him. I guess he does have on more year so maybe that's driving up the price.
