Miller will be so good he will be beating off the league with both hands - TPC

Even if NHL stands for National Hot-potato League?
He's a star in those circles. - Tonybere
If Skjei scored the game winning goal for the cup, I would still find something wrong with it. He has made me so biased against him |

In the offseason we will officially change his name to Brady Shay. It'll be a new player I promise |

We all hope that Miller is a world beater, but I think even if we got Provorov 2.0 that would be a gigantic upgrade. Isn't that what we really need? - 2sticks1puck
I still think K'Andre Miller does 3 years at Wisconsin and then leaves like Ryan McDonagh, Brendan Smith, Jake Gardner, Jamie McBain, Justin Schultz all did
seems to be the formula that Wisconsin defensemen have used before the NHL, 3 years.

when looking at prospects to trade for, Trent Frederic's name seems like it has been coming up forever
I do like the look of him having 122 PIM's in 50 games in the AHL this year
could team up with Lindgren and turn Marchand from a rooster to a hen |

Make them give us Debrusk somehow. They can let some guys walk, but I'm just not seeing how they can get him locked up. |

Of the NYR asst capt.s, NYR could possibly trade 2 of the 5 ...leaving a huge hole in the leadership lineup ... like last yr. its just not about talent ,need a blend of all ingredients, shipping out home grown talent is never good for team demeanor
quote from J Mckenna
Following the 2019 trade deadline selloff, which included popular teammates such as Mats Zuccarello and Kevin Hayes, the ripple effects lingered in the locker room. Team morale plummeted and the Rangers finished the season with a poor 5-10-5 showing. Players have reflected on it as a difficult time.
Right now we are non committal on P Os , players aint ,thats where the cheddar is made when you get in and play ... IF we sell of Krieds ,Fast ,Strome ,Ada because the sellers market is so good it will gut this team & set it back 2 more yrs ..
Then why did we pay 19 mill for breadman& trouba ? now |

Gotta figure then they let Krug walk, which I don't see how they could if Chara hangs them up. Have to figure Krug is going to want 7-8 million. In a roundabout way, maybe it's a good thing that we will have one more year of cap crunch, because I'd be pounding the table for us to talk to that guy to try to get him. |

yeah they have salary problems after the season to tackle
but if the theory is that the trades that Tampa and Pittsburgh have created an arms race that Boston is desperate to respond to, they aren't concerned with the off season now
the price has gone up on Kreider now though, I think a 4 asset package with Frederic is the price
1st rounder, John Beecher, Frederic, another 1st rounder if Kreider re-signs there, a 2nd if he doesn't
that kind of trade |

Nope. They're gonna trade with Anaheim or a western team so they dont have to give up all of those assets for a really nice rental player.
I really like Kreider, but I'd never pay that much for a max 40 games ( if unsigned) of his services. He doesn't guarantee a cup victory in Boston. |

You may have too. Colorado has shown to be willing to pay for assets and now has a gigantic hole in their lineup. You may have to outbid them. |

Agreed, way too premature. Guess that’s why Shero is on the unemployment line. |

the isels are just a worse version of our 2014,2015 team. They play great system hockey, but only have one game breaker in Barzal. Not enough to really win it all. |
