Rangers have moved their practice back a half hour until 11:30.

John Davidson will address the media at 11, so some kind of news must be coming... #NYR

Rangers will not sit back after the Isles made a big move.

Couldn’t Trochek have been traded to a Western team?

Would have been nice.

I wonder if there would be any takers for Greiss at this stage. I think it's highly unlikely that we'd actually trade him however since he's a free agent next year and hasn't been all that great of late it would be interesting to see what we could get for him
- keaner17

They can't move Greiss unless they go make another move for a goalie and given what we just paid I can't see them using assets on that. Greiss has historically been streaky, he'll be fine.

I would not mind it if the Isles had a goalie in Bridge that was reliable as a backup.

Feeling amongst league executives is Dorion got a "great" return for Pageau. Two sides had talks on the weekend and #Sens tabled a new offer Sunday but weren't able to bridge gap. As @TSNBobMcKenzie noted today Pageau wanted a five year deal in excess of $5 million per-season.

That's exactly Josh Bailey's cap hit and one more year than he's currently signed for...

Huh...

So would y'all be cool with that? Swapping Bailey for Pageau?

Pageau is three years younger and, at the absolute worst, about equal to Bailey in terms of talent. Certainly a more well-rounded player. I'd make that move all day. They could probably recoup at least a 2nd for Bailey at the draft, probably more.

I don’t think the Isles sent an official press release on the trade yet. Maybe they are working on a deal and will release it all at once. Fingers Crossed.

Have to think Lou's idea is signing Pageau and getting some picks back by moving Bailey and opening a spot for Wahlstrom.

With 24 goals and 16 assists, Pageau becomes #Isles leading goal scorer and third on team in points.

Solid player but this team is missing a 1st line center, with cizikas in the lineup we have plenty of 3rd liners.

Great 2nd line center, not quite the 1st line center I think we need quite yet.
