Gonna be tough on Tuesday against the Rangers who have been playing great and surging in the standings.

Who knows what the Rangers are gonna look like after the trade deadline.

Bellows with few good scoring chances. Probably the most outside of the first line.

He did not score so back to Bridge for him.

I guess a 3rd round pick is worth a hundred fifty grand to an nhl team. That’s probably the prorated version of what montreal paid.

For a kid some were thinking was a bust it’s pretty awesome to see he’s at least, most likely, an nhl caliber player of some sort.

We'll have Kreider and he will be fired up to play against the team that wouldn't pay him.

I’m not big on the idea of trading for kreider with what it would take and don’t think it’ll ever happen but that story line is pretty hysterical.

Well barzal looks good again the last 4 or 5 games, they lost some but they were generating a lot on that line. Good win

With the Rangers suddenly within striking distance of the last playoff spot, I am guessing they will hold out for a big haul of picks/prospects before they trade him. It's not a good look to unload good players when you're in the thick of the playoff race. If no one is willing to overpay for Kreider, I am guessing he stays put.

The only way you are getting rid of Ladd is if you staple a 1st round pick too him
- mdw7413

Bailey shall be stapled to him, like, 195 staples...back to back, arm to arm...stapled together

As close as they are, are they really CLOSE ? He would get a pretty good return on a trade. He's definitely going to be in demand, and ove-compensated for.

It is funny. They would never trade him to the Isles.

Yeah I know but I don’t remember maybe ever hearing this much noise about a potential trade between the two teams maybe in my lifetime? It’s usually never even discussed.

I have a feeling Lameriello is going to do something fairly significant today. Unfortunately that feeling is based on pretty much nothing but a gut feeling😂

I also think it’s not going to small either.

I'm not saying the Rangers can't get make the plyoffs but the three point games make things look closer than they are. Passing Columbus and Carolina will be very difficult. It's possible, but unlikely. So we can root for them to keep Kreider then miss the playoffs.

I'm not expecting anything. I know Lou isn't Snow, but I can't get my hopes up. If he makes a move I will be pleasantly surprised.

Every islander fan should be hoping for that. Whatever they sign him to will wind up being a regrettable contract pretty quickly imo. With that said I think they have a legit shot of making it. They’re playing pretty awesome and the Jackets are not with their injuries. Their last win against the sharks had some shaky moments but they found a way. Their other recent wins on the streak they’re on now have been pretty solid. They look good. I’m far from saying it’s a definite but if they continue playing the way they are they have a legit chance.

Kidding...I hope you're right. I think it's better to keep expectations low, though, and then be pleasantly surprised.
