Schwein knows it. He may not want to hear it but he knows it. I’ve been saying it for months Lee has made at least me real nervous about that contract. He’s not engaged and he definitely isn’t leading by example. More often than not he looks lazy, disinterested, and listless out there.

He has done this before I’m the past where he tries to be successful without crashing the net. Didn’t work and it’s not working now. The defense has been unloading on the net the problem is there’s never anyone ever there to put in a rebound including him. I was shocked to see him there a couple times last night when a shot hit the net. That hasn’t been the norm for a while now.

That contract made more than a few nervous. I like Lee but I stand by 7 years is too much for someone his age and style and who does not generate offense on his own.

Well you don’t have to worry about him getting injured the way he has been playing😂

It's tough to even complain about. They paid fair market value and they really had no choice. It's going to suck balls in a few years though.

I’m not complaining about it I’m saying it makes me nervous. There’s a difference. I’ve said multiple times they had to do it. With that said I’m not sitting here saying that Lameriello moved mountains and earth to get it done and he deserves accolades and a standing ovation for locking him up. There’s also a difference with that 😂
I like Lee. Always have but man he looks like an absolute pile of crap out there for pretty much the entire season. Have a little pride in yourself after signing a big contract. He honestly looks like he doesn’t want to be out there most games.

Meh Boychuck is fine and Lee most likely will be as well for at least a few years. He’s just terrible now😂

I'm not accusing you of complaining

Just saying that, in general, it was kind of a necessary evil. I love the guy, think he's a great captain and a good player...but it's probably a deal they'll regret at some point in time.

Boychuk has been pretty bad lately. Not "they're worse with him in the lineup" bad. But bad.

He is having a rough stretch agreed but he’s not any worse than Toews who to me has been the absolute Achilles heel of our blue line. I’m still trying to figure out why he’s getting so much pp time? He is like the Mat Barzal turnstile of the blue line.

I am going to very much disagree with you on Toews. I think he's been one of the better defensemen lately.
