How not really? I just stated they won’t be able to sign both Strome and ADA if they kept kreider. Then you say they’ll definitely sign ADA. I believe you missed my point.

I think the Kreider contract talks are probably more a ploy to drive up his price than anything. It's not like he can't sign back there in the summer if he really wanted to be there and was willing to take a small discount.

Yeah who knows the last time it happened it was a decade ago for some bottom dweller and a sixth rd pick nothing. Seriously doubt it and in all honesty I don’t want kreider for what Ranger fans think he’s worth😂

If they’re going to spend those kind of assets go for a center in Pageau.

Rather have Kreider than Pageau. Both would be ideal. Lou may make history with the Isles and the Rags making a trade at the deadline.

More to come

Ultimately he has complete control unless of course the team doesn’t want him which doesn’t seem to be the case. I think they would be dumb to not trade him imo but I’ve never been a big kreider fan even beyond my typical being an islander fan dislike.

Meaning I don't think Kreider and Strome are necessities going forward, with or without Hanks contract.

I'd love to have and keep kreider just to stick it in the rangers ass

I'd probably take Kreider 10 times out of 10 over Pageau. He and Barzal zipping around out there would be something to see. He can be a bit inconsistent, but when he's on he's pretty god damn good. That said, I cannot imagine this actually happens.

😂

Ok but I said it would be hard to keep Kreider, Strome, and ADA. That’s it. Not any combination all three you (frank) face 😂

Nope. Not a Kreider fan he has a way of vanishing for long stretches. I watch quite a bit of Ranger games. He’s playing pretty consistent this season but there’s always been periods where he plays like everyone else on the ice has Ebola.

I was going by the sentence where you said his contract is hurting the Rangers. I guess it depends on your opinion of who is disposable. TPC will disagree with this

Imagine trading a first and Wahlstrom for that guy and we get that version. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if whoever trades for him gets some invisible man for their last 25 games😂

I think Hank should never leave and sign a 10 year extension.

I don't get all the love for Georgiev. He's decent for a young guy but his stats are about as average as average gets. Someone over there said they wouldn't trade him to the Leafs for a 2nd and Bracco...I'd have taken that package and run. I think he's worth like a 3rd rounder on a good day.

I know they’ve been saying they would never buy him out do you think they’ll stick with that mantra? Obviously he’s highly respected within the organization but that’s a tough pill to swallow. Buying him out cures a lot of their problems pretty quickly.

It doesn't really. It saves them $3M in cap space next year and costs them $1.5M in cap space the year after that. I mean it helps, but it's not like it erases his entire $8.5M cap hit.
