To be fair, Barrie never said he wanted 8 million over 8 years. That was a report from Simmons or somebody. It might have been an accurate report but Barrie wasn't the one who publicly said it.

If he becomes a UFA, he'll definitely make at least 6-7. He's got the point totals for it. But he's too expensive and too useless for this team. If we didn't have Rielly, maybe, but we do so he's not nearly as useful to us.

I'm sure you'll be the first one to point out CNN and MSNBC does it very well.

Barrie is healthier and has better point totals over his career.
