2nd best crosscheck this month.
1. Chara vs Gallagher
2. Buchnevich vs Marchand
3. Marchand vs that kid who won't be around for long.

- shoreorrpark

You forgot #4 - Marchant on some guy.

Man, I don't know what you have against Todd Marchant.
- MrBeanTown

He's a known homosexual. Here is a picture of him attempting to have on-ice sex with Dion Phaneuf. He even signed it.

Little fun fact via Wikipedia:

Marchant then refused to waive his no trade clause, which would have allowed Columbus to send him to Anaheim as part of the Sergei Fedorov trade. After trading for Fedorov, Columbus placed Marchant on waivers in order to free up some salary cap space (as Marchant makes $2.5 Million/Year). Anaheim picked Marchant up on waivers on November 21, 2005 to make him a Mighty Duck.

It is amazing. Marchand gets a penalty. Everyone comes out of the woodwork.

I am not saying it wasn't a little wiener job move but on average you see about 50 of those crosschecks every single night in the NHL.

You don't see cross checks to the lower back every game. Don't know what games you are watching. Maybe you have been watching Big Nose the last decade and think its normal hockey. It's not. It's pure dirt.

Dirtbag Marchant is famous for punching guys in the back of the head and neck and of course the crosscheck to the unprotected lower back. Good to see the Ranger police it themselves. The league won't. Jacobs and Bettman are tight as thieves. Marchant is scum. Gets away with stuff no one else would. Players need to put this cowardly cheap shot artist in his place. Or the hospital.
- Greyman

Since Bettman works for the League - ALL the owners - why would he be doing the Bruins any favors.

Is that kind of like having Greg Campbell on your team? You automatically get a Cup?

He's loaded with skill, great vision and great hands. That is what makes his style of play so infuriating to many, His pooptiness is not necessary. I like a player with attitude and one that gets chippy when it's necessary. But Marchand/Marchant is a Richard about it - getting in cheap shots and then refusing to fight or turtling when the earned beatdown comes. If he's gonna be a Richard, then at least own it and throw the mits. Darcy Tucker is a good example or Rob DiMaio (remember him)? Neither were big guys, but both would talk poop and get under your skin. If you called them on it, they would drop the gloves and fight. Well, meh, it doesn't matter I guess. The league lets him get away with poop and his fans aren't going to turn on him as long as he keeps lighting the lamp. So the rest of us just have to live with it. But, I will female dog about it. LOL.

I can understand a TOR fan, MTL fan, even a VAN fan , but it seems to really bother you TB fans and I'm not sure why, BOS/TB have had a few playoff series over a long time, a series in 17-18 (4-1 TB win)and the 7-game series that was really really good, Other than the fantastic hockey I do remember the Lightning organization complained to the league that the Bruins were running adds that were demoralizing to the TB organization (like Bigfoot being like TB fans, nobody really knows if they exist type of commercial and the NHL actually made them stop advertising it) LOL, but I think back then you fans were all complaining about Lucuc, so idk maybe you just like to complain. maybe the 2 team will meet this year anything can happen as we all know

Maybe, just maybe, all of the noise they make about Marchand is just to deflect attention from that dirty pos Erik Černák.

It is pretty funny... Tucker peaked at 61 pts. But he did have multiple years with > 100 PIM, and one year had > 175 PIM.

And Rob DiMaio... best year was 13 G and 28 Pts. Oh my!

Let Marchand try that against Edmonton. James Neal's other knee wants it's shot too!
