To have 2 separate D men (Lindgren, Trouba) who can throw the body on 2 different pairs is something we haven't seen in awhile.

Then if you wanna make it bigger, let’s add Skjei and then we’ll take Backes, which makes sense because he’s only got one yr left and we need to dump Skjei ASAP. That’s another $5-6 mill off the books after next season

Two mistakes, two goals. Boston played a good game, limiting the Rangers' chances and squashed any shot at sustained attack. The Blueshirts were playing their fourth game in six days and third in four, so that might have impacted their play a bit. but the Bruins did play the day before, so both teams might have been slightly gassed.

Rangers should easily get a prospect as good and a teams first for Kreider.

However, I still think these two parties agree on a deal, 6x6.5 with NMC. They need solid vets to start sticking around now and the org realizes it. We’ll just have to bite the bullet in years 5-6 probably.
