Like what.. you want them to just try to buy at the deadline and trade all of what they have ot make the playoffs this year?? You want to play TB/BOS/WSH in the 1st round? You think they make it to game 5??

I expect another Montour like move where we buy someone with term left like is rumored... maybe sell of a UFA or two... nothing too earth shattering.

The Sabres need an established 2nd line center. That should be the only goal for next offseason.

I know I'm hard on Skinner, but this team needs him to produce, and that should go a long way to helping him.

I wonder if a trade back at the draft could be something to look at.

Look at Tampa, Trade involving assets Sabres first for their first and Johnson/Gourde

Tampa gets a top 10 pick out of it, Buffalo still gets a first, tampa dumps cap.

I don't like his production for 2C and I absolutely hate a NTC along with 28 Yo with that contract.

Trocheck had that 75 pt season... 2 55 pt seasons before that but has been pretty down the last 2 years.

If there is a legit 2C that we are going to tie all of our wagons too... I'd offer Risto, Casey, and the 2nds or 3rds or whatever to get him.
