You don't need to be the most talented team if you play the game the right way.

I remember his solution in the lockout year was to count on Freakarenko and then when that failed, he brought Jochen back from Germany

Come to think of it, that's pretty similar to this year. Replace Freakorenko with Casey and Jochen with Lazar

If we could take the top 4 from this team and supplement with Hects and others form the past 15 years we would be staying. Even if we could supplement with the players we traded the last 5 years we would be styling

Again he hasn’t been a consistent goal scorer from year to year.

There a pattern which means there’s a trend. He’s never had back to back 30 goal seasons.

Not sure why anyone thought it’d be any different?

Sure the coach has something to do with it but at some point you have to blame the player.

He was as steady as they come back there and did it for 18 yrs with the same franchise.

In a sport where players a commodities, he stayed with one franchise.

I have zero issues with it.
