I think this season is a bit of a lost cause. They'll tweak a couple of things for next year, pump it up for fan consumption and see what happens.

Ultimately not much. I haven't gone to a game in years, and I canceled my cable subscription once my 2 year introductory rate ended. So they get nothing from me. Oh, I buy a new hat every 2 or 3 years, but that's it.

Im not backing it as a business model. It just seems to be the direction they're going in. The Pegulas are very busy people. They have a professional athlete daughter and she has a skin care business. Their main business is the NFL team, and it seems as though the hockey team has been handed over to the GM. The Sabres could just be an afterthought.

Sorry, worst contract in Sabres history. And one of his fans come to defends a good play, now no assist. Everybody needs a hero, I guess.

When you celebrate your 9 million "stud" FINALLY making a difference after going 20+ games without a goal. Most fan bases would be, well it's about f**cking time! Here, we have a party for effort. Something is not right with that.

I was one of the few "sheep" who didn't want ROR traded, wrong there. Remember "you trade for players like ROR, not trade them away?" Yeah, not sure what you have seen from Skinner since this time last year when he faded into oblivion except a blip at the beginning of this year but keep the faith, that's all you have.

It's becoming clear that he's trying to make hockey trades. If he was selling dmen for picks, he'd probably have done it by now. All the trades so far have really just been picks when it comes to rental D.

I contend that you can win with Ullmark. His Sv% is 24th in the league. He's right around, and above guys in playoff positions:

Grubauer, Samsonov, Koskinen, Binnington, Rittich, Hart and Fleury.

that's a hell of a motivator we have behind our bench
