If Botterill can pull off a reverse ROR(ripping off another team for a good 2C/borderline 1C) I will freely admit I was wrong. - Wetbandit1
You'll get a 3C for a 2nd and a 5th and you'll like it! |

In NHL 20 I created the new Seattle team and traded a 1st, an A rated prospect, Peyton Krebs, and Derrick Brassard for Eichel. Maybe Botts would actually fall for this in real life. - Sabre_Tooth

No, she is listed as Vice President of Pegula Sports Entertainment. She and her husband don’t want a president of Hockey Ops because they want the general manager communicating directly to them essentially making them the president of hockey operations. They don’t know hockey, they have too much going on to focus on the Sabres. If they are pretending not to spare any expense to make this a championship franchise why wouldn’t they want someone to help advise the GM? Why wouldn’t they want another hockey guy with networking and know how?
You go on defending this dysfunctional ownership and management group while we break the record for longest playoff drought in the history of the league. - Beethoven
Did I see you down at the arena 2 Saturdays ago with 19 of your closest friends?
I thought that was you...
P. S. You have to actually LIGHT the torches. |

We complained for years about the Bill's hiring a president of football operations. Last year they hired one and bang we're in the playoffs.
Oh wait, nevermind.
We were fine with just a good gm and coach

Why make the Frolik trade and not just call up CJ Smith or someone else from Rochester at a pittance of the price and at least the same production? It's like throwing money and cap space away?
The Scandella return today could have been waited on if they dumped Bogo sooner, kept Pilut in Rochester except for injuries and then dealt him closer to the deadline but I won't beat up JB too much about that because I have a feeling he is going to get beat up after the trade deadline. |

Sabres also had Dalton Smith sitting right there in Rochester, waiting to be called up. |

I'd move mccabe for a 2nd and a 4th
same for miller - homiedclown
Thy leaves us thin on defense for next year
Especially if we are trading Montour or Risto for a forward as well
And is Pilut still going back to Europe like u said he might?
That would leave our defense for next year as:
Dahlin-Jokiharju
Pilut??-Montour/Risto
______-______
Maybe Borgen is ready for RD3
And i guess we could bring back Gilmore as the 7
That only leaves Bryson as MAYBE someone who could be called up for injuries
I guess it could work out
But it does leave us very thin

need to trade 2 or 3 players for an impact player
move 2 guys and a pick for RNH
move 2 guys and a prospect for mantha
this team needs difference makers, not semi warm bodies - homiedclown
Sounds great

Ryan Johnson 6’0
Henri Jokiharju 5’11
Jacob Bryson 5’9
Oskari Laaksonen 6’2
Lawrence Pilut 5’11
But yes, he drafted one 6’4 dude. So I guess that’s all of them |

It's in Botterill's interest to leak these things.
He's always trying. When it doesn't work out, he tried |

I’m super confused as to how you think that would be in his best interest.
You actually think it makes him look better that he can’t get things done when he tries? |
