Botts made a move that he thought would help the team “win now”. He moved Scandella for a depth forward with the thought Frolik could produce in the bottom 6 and help our last ranked PK.

This is a very small, yet one of the many examples how making moves to “win now” instead of being patient burns teams 80% of the time.

All this bs about “driving a line” is f-Ed up. Elite scoring winger- Needs puck passed to him. Goes on some breakaways with good results. Just because he got paid a lot of money doesn’t make him into a different player than he is.
