My gripe is and always will be. Why did he feel so strongly that he had to acquire Frolik.

This team is littered with 4th line players. Why did he need to add another.

Why did he waste months on trying to acquire him.

The guy will play in zero meaningful games for this organization and will be gone next year.

The end result is net same if he would have just kept Scandella for the rest of the year.

Go back to the Frolik trade thread. There is zero revisionist history for many of us who said that it was an awful move from the start.

Frolik, sure, I never understood the move.

BUT, everyone thought Scandella sucked and should be gone (he is a plus 10 right now but he sucks something fierce). So what that the Canadiens got more due to A CURRENT NEED.

Frolik deal only makes sense if we don’t give up a PK goal the rest of the year and this team makes a miraculous run to the playoffs.
