I would say it's a bit too late to not "die on the Johansson hill".
Last night your point was a specific player - Johansson
Its ieetbred-Johansson mountain range as far as I'm concerned.
Forever 😀 - Boss34
Yea because last night it was johansson being dealt for futures

Give em all the Larry's
Going to be hard not seeing the Legion of Gloom next year though - hubie
2-for-1 Larry sale. All Larrys must go. Buy one Latvian Larry get a Lockport free |
|
|
|
And there's no way he's getting into the top 3.
He just doesn't have the ammo, nor the ammo to GET the ammo, unless we're trading Rhino to a team in the top 10, and I doubt he even gets you that return, imo. - Powerslave
I agree with you. But in this years draft class There aren’t that many “nhl ready” players. |

I’ll take a Larry with a straw. |

and then we can see what would have happened if GMTM had the next pick in the draft as well. - hubie
Well than we could have soft Sam the skunk and sandpaper Sam. Or as the Garth headline would read. “Sampaper added, botts scuffs the surface of the roster” |

If you want the good plastic kind, that'll cost Larry Lazar and one of the other Larrys |

Yeah but the last 2 years ..... he could’ve added a 2C. Then unloaded salaries to fit Sam montour and dahlin - Sabretooth9
I missed it - who did he whiff on? Would love that 2C but I had not heard that he swing and missed. |

buffalo is going to have some pretty sizable bonus Payouts to watch out for.
Dahlin alone i think is 2Mil+ - ImThatGuy
Dahlin has 2.85. We don't know what they are or how likely he is to hit them.
Unless we move out more salary, we're going to have an overage penalty next year. It's almost inevitable at this point.

and Frolik - SabresFaninIndiana
And okoposo
And olo
And Samson, unless it’s for Domi and you simultaneously pull the trigger on a #1 Rw with a surplus d man...
And Borgen, maybe
Of course Jack

120... aggressive but he’s no Ryan Reeves, 80 has to be reserved for face punchers. |

He's got 850k of bonuses, that you'd have to assume he's not hitting. Instead of his 925k NHL salary, he's making 70k. That's gotta sting.

So we’re gonna not re-sign Larsson & Girgs,
even though they’ve been playing quite well,
Bc the previous GM(tm) signed Okposo to that dumb contract??
Insert Asplund & Lazar i assume would be you choice to replace them...
3 things though
-injuries are gonna happen, who we bringing up to fill an important defensive role?
-how do we even know that Lazar & Asplund can perform well with that heavy defensive responsibility?
That’s not something u wanna mess with unless you’re sure imo
-and how much does that even save? 2mil tops?
Big whoop
Lots of $$$ coming off the books,
and there’s plenty of room to bring back 2 players who have played well in an important role |
