Maybe a throw in, reclamation project type, but Foote is a pretty good prospect and ready to jump in now, the TB blueline is just that good
- obie

Foote is gonna be really good!! It's crazy what can happen when your team can draft!! And maybe even develop!

Tatar and Petry alone in trades could set us up for long term success. They both could bring in pieces that we've been impatiently waiting for.

The prices right now are insane and these guys would do us more good by leaving than staying.

A 20 goal, 40 point forward with 1 year left that gets you 2 first round picks apparently.... he's no Vincent Trocheck though

He's actually not that bad. I just couldn't resist being a smart-ass. But i was a bit surprised by the return.

The Habs need to sell sell sell! And fire fire fire their management and coach!

This would make us crazy competitive next season!

You think we could trade Petry or Tatar straight up for that stud??

No need for a justification as being a smart ass is part of my nature as well.

Trade deadline is next week, so this current bunch would do the selling part.

Bergevin made a few good trades, I guess.

These trades could be a good thing, more guys off the board, the higher GM's might offer to pry the 2 away

Coleman, Zucker and to a certain extent Greene are just setting the bar

So 28 year old 3rd liners with a career high 36 points are going for top prospect and first round pick...

And Bergevin is keeping everything to make a run at 10th in the east again next year? Lol

Or does he still believe he can make the playoffs this year?

He did. His only strength. But let's face it, he's staying. So trade now and make moves at the TDL and draft.

Maybe but that team has been poop for years and that is after all the trades he's been doing.

Are people still buying tickets at this point? That will be one thing to pay attention to. Molson may take notice.

Next year might be a hard sell as well.

That's a good point lol

Looking back now, he probably should have traded Galchenyuk for a defensemen but what can you do

There's no doubt in my mind that if he was shopping the 2, he'd get a really good return

Dallas, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Long Island

Hoping he hooks up with one of these 4 for a pretty significant trade before the deadline

Good question and if things don't go the way we want or the logical direction to make us better long-term then i hope the place is empty.

If they really think they can be competitive next season then they have rocks in their heads.

We'll see chicken corpse. We will see.

Pretty bad, recovered quite nicely though... Chucky has no value left... Domi remains a pretty decent asset

That's a damn good start! Hit up the teams that draft well and have depth in the position you seek to fortify. This seems so easy.....why is MB making this look so (frank)ing hard??
