I prefer to give 6M to Tatar than to give it to Domi or Drouin. not even close.
and you must be mistaking me for someone else, I would never have laught at you for trading Byron. I've been saying for years they need to get bigger!

- fidopro

It will be closer to 7....

And that's the thing, you don't have to give those guys that, both still young and you have time to assess

Drouin has 3 more years at 5.5, I'd surprised if he spent all 3 in Montreal and Domi wont get anywhere near 7 on his deal this summer

If Domi can chill the (frank) out and accept the fact that he's gonna play LW, I agree 100% but can you really trade Drouin now and not expect to get robbed?
- obie

Probably not right now but if he hadn't been injured, I would have gotten rid of him before the holidays. I just don't see this guy in our future.

Why would you sell low on Drouin. Isn't this a horrible time to trade him?

if he can play like last year I want him. if he plays like this year, or like when he was in AR, he can go (frank) himself elsewhere. and I don't care if we get robbed in the deal. same goes for Drouin.

of course, they should wait next December when he has 40 points in 30 games. then ship him out

Exactly, but how do you know what Domi is the real Domi? You watch him play some more cause you have that luxury, not so much for Tatar... I prefer Tatar as a player over Domi, unfortunately it's a business

And I always care if they get robbed in a deal, that's just silly

Or see if he can play a full season and put up 60 points and trade him at the draft

not really, because while they have time or their side, Drouin cost us a playoffs spot last year. and we could almost say the same thing this year about Domi, to a lesser extent because of the injuries.

still wanna wait?
remember when I told you Tatar Danault Gallagher are not the problem?

What happened last year has nothing to do with it

Of course Tatar is not the problem but the return could be a big part of the solution moving forward! Was Coleman the problem in NJ?

What good are good players in their 30's with soon to be expiring contracts playing on bottom teams?

the guy had 2 points in 30 games, Habs miss by 4, but it has nothing to do with it.

I didn't mean that, what happened last year and this year obviously has everything to do with what they need to do with him when the time comes, doesn't mean they should just give him away and don't care if they get robbed in the trade, like you suggested

let say they trade him last year at xmas, get robbed, but acquires a guy who doesn't disappear in the last 25 games of the season. let say Toffoli! or Coleman!
maybe they make the playofs last year. just maybe.

my point is, the sooner the better. they can both (frank) off.
I'm patient with kids, not 24 y/o.

one for one anytime, twice on Sunday. Trocheck has the grit of Domi and the skills of Drouin.

I'm concerned that Bergy will do something stupid in order to save his job.
His tenure has been a disaster so far ... he must go and that's NOW!!!

Same goes for Timmins, I have zero confidence left in these 2 bozos.
