well here in Quebec 3-4 months from now will be May-June and we consider that "summer".

On me glisse à l'oreille que le but premier du voyage de Marc Bergevin, c'est de visiter sa fille Elle qui se trouve actuellement au Colorado. Il en profiterait pour assister au match TB vs COL mais il ne faut pas y voir une potentielle transaction imminente.

Si c'est vrai, un voyage "pour le fun" à 7 jours du TDL c'est piochon en criss....

it's a bit different. Luongo's problem was that his contract ran through his mid 40s. with Price, the issue is more cap hit. you can't do anything about contract length but you can do something to alleviate the cap hit. imagine if Montreal offered Price with $2 million held on his cap hit. it looks much different.

good point. that combined to the fact that Price's performances have been very inconsistent, so teams are reluctant when looking at the required investment

yeah I don't buy it either. 1st Mellanby has no business there if it's a family trip. and 2nd, an NHL GM doesn't take a week vacation before the tdl. that is ridiculous.

ouin mais j'ai comme l'impression que ya un très gros pourcentage de la job de GM qui peut être fait par téléphone... alors même s'il est au Colorado, il peut quand même compléter une transaction pour envoyer Carey Price à Edmonton
