Not sure a team will take a shot in the 1st round on him after his concussion problems this year. Hoping the Habs might try to grab him with an early 2nd.

That's pretty much a boom or bust pick.

Yup. Kid is super skilled and very smart. But concussion problems are a female dog.

i think it would be more than $2 million for the goalie we are talking about. but in any case, i agree with you that they should do it, especially since they now go into the season with a lot of unused cap space. my point was more that Bergevin won't do it because he'll basically be admitting that the Price contract was a mistake.
- DoubleDown

if they split the games with a 50-30 ratio and make it clear that Price is still #1, that shouldn't be interpreted as admitting failure. If they do split the season with a 1A-1B kind of scenario then I agree it's basically saying "my 10 million dollar poney is old and tired"

is that for stuff he yelled at the reff? because his post-game comments weren't over-the-top or anything, unless I missed something

so about that... i don't disagree with anything he said. what happened Saturday night was ridiculous. i cannot recall seeing anything like it. but i really hate that he went public the way he did because in reality, that was an embarrassing loss for Montreal and part of a season-wide trend of giving up these types of leads on home ice, of not being able to respond at all once a team starts to come back on them. it was their second straight game of not only blowing a multi goal lead on home ice, but of not even scoring another goal once their opponent got on the board.

there's a culture of excuses with this organization. we saw it Saturday night. and we're going to see it when Bergevin gives his end of year presser and the first thing out of his mouth is going to be injuries.

pretty sure I've heard way worse than that, and there weren't any consequences... if the refs actually did a good job, than the league would have a case for fines like these, but right now they should just stfu and use it as constructive criticism

I thought Philly was taking him for sure... was hoping Habs we're gonna grab Harley, he's gonna be better than York, I think anyway

Nothing wrong with having a Harley and a Suzuki to build your franchise around!

I'm still very happy with Caufield. Kid is a gamer. He can finally be the homerun pick Habs have needed for a long time.

Yup

As soon as Philly called out York my hope changed to Caufield, they had to.... now go get Harley via trade and it's all good!
