What if and this what if depends greatly on his performance.... but what if he played 32 games and mentored behind Price? - obie
he is young, I would like to see him play 50-60 games in the AHL, he needs A LOT of mileage, something he did not get in the NCAA |

I'd prefer if they tried to get Brodin or Dumba. |

Hard to argue with that, I guess I'm a little guilty of trying to speed up the process, probably not what's best for him, I think he should be getting more starts in Laval right now though |

I guess that all depends if they can finally manage to grab a decent backup for Price... I doubt they'll want Primeau in that role right away, he's too young to be playing only 20 games and sit the rest of the time - Pat1993
forget it. he's going to dumpster dive again. if you want someone who can come in and give you 30 quality starts you're going to have to pay a few million dollars at least. and there's no chance Bergevin is going to invest that much more in the goalie position. |

what I don't get is why it's so important to keep Kinkaid right now and still give him games. Are they expecting to showcase and trade him? lol |

true that there is already a lot of money invested between the pipes, but if an extra 2 million dollars can help you maximize your 10.5M investment, then they should do it in a heartbeat |

he's getting run into the ground every year for a team that constantly misses the playoffs and generally doesn't even compete for a spot. i honestly don't think the on-ice situation could literally be any worse for him than it is right now. |

i think it would be more than $2 million for the goalie we are talking about. but in any case, i agree with you that they should do it, especially since they now go into the season with a lot of unused cap space. my point was more that Bergevin won't do it because he'll basically be admitting that the Price contract was a mistake. |

Not sure a team will take a shot in the 1st round on him after his concussion problems this year. Hoping the Habs might try to grab him with an early 2nd. |
