The Isles are nuts.

Last season at this same time when I looked at the makeup of the Flyers roster, there was no fewer than a dozen players that I had thought should not return/be traded/waived etc. Now I struggled a little with choosing 4. Fletcher has really cleaned things up. I just hope the cap has enough leeway next year to keep a 7th D and 13F and call up a player or two. Otherwise it’s looking good.

Lamoriello should have added a 4th round pick and traded for Pavel Kubina instead of Andy Greene.

At the end of last season I was hoping for better coaching quality veteran D men to settle our young D down, and a chance for the young wingers and centers an opportunity to get experience. All of that has happened, so I'm very satisfied. Like most i really get frustrated in the moment, but so far a very good season. Trading Ghost only makes sense if we get a great return. I don't want a 3rd line center.

If he was traded right now for pennies on the dollar and then started playing well for his new team after recovering from his injuries, you and the clown would be the first to claim how Fletcher trades away good players and gets bad returns

The team has shown it is capable without Ghost and maybe it's time to move him.

I would offer a package of Ghost + pick for Trocheck and then look for a serviceable spart part depth dman at the deadline
