What is their position of strength? A surplus of bottom pairing Dmen ?

LOL right?

I could actually see NJ being a good partner if FLA values Subban, as well as CAR.

I'm praying he got demoted, but I have a feeling he's hurt. I saw him bending over after his last shift.

If anything it’ll show sully that he’s not the straw that stirs the drink for that line.

I'm not a fan of ZAR, but he's been so good defensively this year and that line has just been awesome together. It would suck if he's injured.

I don’t think JJ has connected on a pass all afternoon

It's kind ironic, but during the pre-game commentary profiling players in this game, they pointed out ZAR stating he hasn't missed a game this season.

There's more offense to be gained from Blugs and Tanev. ZAR is sound defensively but his stick is a black hole.

It’s definitely a head scratcher to me. I just don’t see anything special defensively about him

He played that Arizona game like his hair was on fire. One game the entire season I saw above average effort. He's mostly a plodding 4th liner IMO.

There have been so many hat tricks lately. Used to be kind of a rarity now it's every other day it seems.

Sooo...I'm pretty sure Riikola is our third best defenseman right now. At least fourth. Silky smooth skater and puck handler. Don't know what Sully sees that we don't (or doesn't see as the case may be).

Just as I say this he has a turnover that leads to a scoring chance.

I saw him skate around the back of Detroit's net and kind of bent over quickly like someone caught him in the mid section or hand with a stick. Couldn't really tell. It just looked like he hurt something. I don't think he had another shift.

Totally agree! I cannot see how he can be benched after what he’s shown this season. He’s better than MP

Dumoulin, Pettersson, Riikola, Jack Johnson in that order.

Yah, but Ruwedle has a better shot than half our D men so that really doesn't mean much lol.

It really is a weakness. They get a lot of opportunities. When the puck goes to JJ it’s a 95% chance it’s going down the boards or “pass” of the end boards.
