First of all, Coleman is off to Tampa Bay not Colorado.

Second of all, I would think you'd have to be stupid to trade two first round picks for Coleman. That's 2 rounds higher on one of the picks than what Van paid for Miller and EVERYBODY thought that was an overpayment. (not everybody but just about everybody)

Miller for a 1st and 3rd

Coleman for late 1st round pick(Nolan Foote) and another 1st.

That's like trading for Charlie Coyle which Boston paid an underperforming 22 year old 2nd round pick and a 5th round pick.

That's just a (frank)en insanely high price for a player of Coleman's caliber.

Cost control is everything right now. 21 goals and 31 points for coleman, 1 more year after this at 900k. Rentals are less desirable than good players on good contracts IMO

Yes. I made a mistake read it wrong. Deleted the post least I can do as I'm not perfect and can admit blowing that call. Deserve whatever made up crap follows. Its a dog day afternoon nothing more can be worse then making a posting error among the distractions of the day.

I'm not sure if you are quoting me but get your meaning. If you look at the stats the Canucks traditionally after long travel trips don't do well first game back. Why bring that up in this game? This anomaly of week long celebrations.

Canucks just too comfortable admiring the ceremonies don't have their heads in the games. Its not an excuse they should do better. Its just a reality to lower expectations when things turn out bad.
