Pasternak with a meaningless goal late in third.

Your move, Auston.

Matthews is the only one of the three who hasn’t held the goal scoring lead by himself. It’s either tied with Ovie or Pasta.

If anyone is looking for NHL streams, there's Volokit. I'm using this website for years, the best part is without popads

andreas johnsson out at least 2 months with a knee injury. even more cap space opens up. use johnsson as trade bait to get a defenseman.

The fact that Bracco still isn't getting called up in favour of guys like Aberg tells me the club is scared he will look terrible in the NHL and ruin a potential trade with him. On the other hand other teams likely would like to see what he can do. Catch 22.

Am I the only one who hates the top line experiment?
It just makes so much more sense to have one of Matthews / Tavares with one of Nylander / Marner. They have so many nice complimentary wingers that can fill the other spot on each of those lines.

- MrBen

We were all discussing it last game and agreeing it works better with two balanced lines. As Zezel says though, it's not a bad thing that Keefe is willing to experiment and little a try new things. After Babs and his stubbornness, it's kind of a nice sign to see a coach willing to change things up if he sees a need or opportunity.

I think two skilled guys with a grinder/puck retriever works well, plus we can make two dangerous lines this way, instead of one that's loaded up and then Tavares and two plugs. Doing that just allows the other team to focus their strategy on shutting down Matthews' line. Plus I just feel bad seeing JT playing with Kerfoot and whoever the (frank) the other was before.

Or maybe they just don't think he's ready yet. Maybe they're working on his defense on the Marlies? Take Liljegren for example. They kept him mostly in the AHL while working on various aspects of his game until he was ready, and now I think he's looking pretty good.

Possibly.

Liljegren hasn't looked great though, and he wasn't called up because he was ready. They had no other choice.

Liljegren has looked just fine - actually more solid than Sandin defensively.

They've been good when together. Sandin handles most of the offense, and Liljegren is more defensive minded, but can still jump up once in a while.

Eichel is a strong contender. Laine is a dark horse.

I recall when Keith Tkachunk scored 52 goals and 10 were empty netters.

Welcome to Hockeybuzz.

Thanks for sharing, there are several posters that don’t have cable that are always looking for game streams.

BTW, hope you don’t have thin skin, there are some posters that just love to aggravate. Just ignore and move past.

He's looked better than Holl and Dermott and for the most part more solid than Sandin.

Dubas has already said that the only reason he wasn't up with the Leafs last season was because he had multiple high ankle sprains.

So they thought he was ready last season but there just wasn't any room for him yet this season.
