No sh!t eh šŸ˜•

Agree or disagree.... this is the core of this team beyond next season

FOWARDS
Suzuki C
Caufield RW
Kotkaniemi C
Danault C
Gallagher RW
Drouin LW
Domi LW/C
Poehling LW/C
Lehkonen LW
Armia RW
Evans RW/C
Ylonen RW
Hillis C

DEFENSE
Romanov LD
Mete LD
Brook RD
Fleury RD
Juulsen RD*
Harris LD
Struble LD

Primeau eventually taking over from Price

And I just mean what they have now, not who they may trade or whatever

- obie

All depends what Tatar brings back vs what Domi or Drouin would to a degree but somewhat yes. Not sure Harris and Struble are ready yet. Not sure Ylonen is this side of the pond even next year

Hard to say, but it could be... zero chance they go down that road though

Hard to even imagine what a Price trade could look like right now, harder to imagine one that would be favorable to Montreal

I think it can get done, if they get creative. Like retain some $$$ or take a big salary back (Jamie Benn, lol).

I think they'll wait untill Primeau see some action in the NHL. Hopefully we see more of him in the NHL next season.

I agree about the 3 prospects, I don't expect them to be regulars by then, but if not traded and all goes well, they'll find themselves in the conversation by then

Lots more certainties at the F position

Weber might be dead like me, so it might be too late.

If you can trade Price, sure. See my other post.

You set the bar too high too early with the Seattle remark, it's all downhill from there, not horrible though... maybe a 6.5? Could be as high as an 8 if it wasnt standing up against the previous post... but it is a bit recycled, unlike the other, which scored extremely high in originality

Lot of good posts and a few delusional ones.
1.Price does not wave his no trade clause to go to a expansion team. Heā€™s stated he wants to win(unlikely in Montreal within the next 3 years)so I see 2 options for trade Colorado(really close to being cup favourites) and his home town Canucks (which are closer to finishing their rebuild than Montreal is to their ā€œresetā€)
2.If youā€™re trading, you have to know how far this team from contending ie one year, three years or longer. I believe with the right leadership(not MB)and development(not CJ) weā€™re 3 years away.So this year trade Petry(replace with veteran dman in free agency, probably a downgrade but mentor ship).Trade tartar and kovi at deadline. Trade up in draft by packaging domi plus to get a difference maker. Doing this puts Price in a position to demand a trade and Weber is on hold until his health issues are cleared.

that is a line up that is going no where fast...still again....too small...we need muscle...we need guys that can put some hurt into the opponents...the Bruins game was an epic example of a Habs team completely exposed and deficient in every way shape and form. They were mauled by the Bruins...not a single player responded to the onslaught...only Gally...who took it right in the neck!

Habs outhit the Bruins 27-25.... other than a vicious cross check to the face, the Bruins did the damage on the scoreboard... Pasternak, Bergeron & Rask won the game, nobody ran anybody out of the building

My parents made a wallet out of my foreskin when I was circumcised. Super handy, give it a quick rub and it turns into a suitcase!

If you had blackout issues with NHL tv like me, i found this great website www.volokit.com/schedule for NHL Streams in high quality like NHL tv and clean from pop ads and safe, i'm using it from last year in the playoffs games and is working great on my PS4.

Tonight will be a great hockey night.
