Great point. And what the heck was he doing on that first goal tonight? And his rebound control was terrible again.
Also, if there is one UFA i would re-sign, it's Lazar. Perfect 4th line guy, PK, good on draws, defensive help and hits. 2 X $1 million. - SabreWest
He's RFA. Almost a given that he'll be back. |

In three years when eichel wants out
It's a ror return
Bottom line
This team needs to compete next season or they are going to have tough decisions - homiedclown
Then u don’t trade him till u get the deal you want
Like Sakic did with Duchene
Like Stevie Y did with Drouin
Etc, etc, etc
Can’t trade Eichel for a decent return bc you’re afraid he might one day ask out
Any offer worth considering would have to be spectacular |

I’ve been posting the fancy stats here a lot over the course of the past month, I’m sure people are sick of me sounding like a broken record on here but this team defends very well.
The goaltending has let us down this year or we could of at the very least been playing meaningful hockey for another month and maybe pushed the table even with our laughable offensive production. |

No, it's the smell. |

So I was at the game (yes I hate being one of those people)
But what ever the goal song was with the old goal horn was incredible. They need to keep that going
You could actually feel the energy from the crowd just instantly get better.
And before you go. “Yeah but they scored a goal and always happens”
When let me clear my throat goes off. It be ever did what that song did tonight energy wise
End of rant about a goal song |

It seems like you know your stuff and rely a lot on analytics. Please take some extra time to study the Leafs. Is Anderson or Hutchison the goat |

“Carter Hutton has won back-to-back starts for first time since October. His season in segments:
6-0-0, .943, 1.65
0-8-4, .872, 4.04
3-1-0, .904, 2.84“
With tonight’s win that takes him up to 4-1 in his last 5. He stopped 28-31 for a .903Sv% |

There’s definitely some signs that we have a chance to take a big step
Just look at what killed us this year:
1- goaltending for sure
-can we bring someone in to pair with Ullmark & play decent? I don’t see why not
2- the PK
-seems like something that’s fixable to me
3- secondary scoring
-we got very little from Mitts & Skinner this year,
and Dahlin didn’t play well for big chunks of the season
All 3 of those things are easily fixable imo
Doing those alone, and nothing else,
and we’re at least contenders for the playoffs
And if we can bring in another top6 scorer,
and get something out of Mitts & Cozens...
Then we could finally start to look like the team we all wanna see
Yeah... there’s some “ifs” there
But nothing that’s not reachable imo |

So again. Using analytics who is more responsible for the leafs drop in the standings from last year. Hutch or Anderson |
