I know you can't use injuries as an excuse (and we all know management will), but I still would've liked to see what they would've been able to accomplish with everyone healthy... MB might simply be thinking "oh next year we should get luckier and not lose as many key guys, and then we'll be golden"

Best ability is availability. When you're built to succeed based on depth and scoring by committee you need health or you'll be out quick

and sadly the reality is that there aren't that many teams that have the depth to sustain and manage important injuries. People refer to PIT when talking about injuries not being an excuse, but last time I checked the habs' personnel is a bit different than theirs..
