This isn’t a team celebration, it’s to celebrate two guys who meant so much to the Vancouver Canucks as well as the Vancouver metro community.

Individually they won Hart, Art Ross & Ted Lindsey trophies, 65th and 74th in league HISTORY in all-time scoring. Two of only 90 players in league history to ever reach 1000 points and they did it entirely with the Vancouver Canucks. HHOF careers!

Sure the Stanley Cup is missing but that doesn’t take away from them individually. Hockey’s a team game, what’s sad is twatface fans like you who belittle their careers because they didn’t win a Cup. They didn’t manage the team, they weren’t responsible for player transactions.

Thanks Carol.

This is brilliant and I couldn't agree more. Definite first ballot Hall material.

I am looking forward to this ceremony and seeing the city give them the send off they deserve. The last home game had a magical feeling and I feel like the team with Bo leading the charge will not let them lose on Sedin night.

I feel a strong attachment to the twins as they got to Vancouver just as I moved there and I was able to watch their entire careers. They grew year after year to become the players they were, they would find a flaw in their game and work to make it a strength. I can only hope that our young guys coming in have that drive and work ethic, if they do we will be in great shape!!!

Is DeAngelo a player that Vancouver should target, 24, RD 42pts, $925,000 RFA?

On paper it looks good, but I’m not familiar with him overall.

Just wanted to drop by to say let's have ourselves a fun one tonight boys. Congrats to the twins on two fantastic careers. The Swedish Mario Bros always tormented us. It was frustrating, yet captivating to watch the chemistry between them. Mad respect. Only fitting their retirement night is when the Hawks are in town - it's an honor. Lot of fun, competitive, TRUE rivalry years we had over the past decade that I sorely miss. Canucks-Hawks games always have a little more meaning to them, and what always made for stressful springs. Tip of the cap from this guy.

Hope you guys enjoy the night.

But, let's be honest, hope we spoil it.

Great ceremony. Hated these guys when they played, but hey they were rivals to my team. Well deserved tribute to a great pair.

He's very outspoken about being right wing politically. Not that it has anything to do with his hockey, but not sure it would go over well in Van city.

As for his hockey, he's a solid 2 way Dman, but if i had to hazard a guess from what I know/have seen of his game, he won't surpass or maybe even reach this height again. He's likely to get greatly overpaid compared to what he will actually bring in the next few years.
