I have two brothers.
Every year we buy poop for each other’s kids.
And I truly mean poop.
7 kids (total) x roughly $60 = a lot of wasted money.
I franking hate this obligation to waste money, and Valentine’s Day is the worst.

86 points in his last 96 games in the KHL.
I understand points aren't everything but its all we have really as fans on KHL players.
But the Leafs obviously have a lot more info on him and Dubas already met face to face with him in Russia so they see something in him. - Santo_44
There are advanced stats for the KHL:
Gregorenko like two potatoes, but police take one potato.
Medvedev like bag of beets, but half those beets stolen by brother-in-law.
Gorpenlov like winter in Stalingrad, and you no have boots to eat. |

im with you, also starting to hate the xmas stuff where everyone has to get presents and poop. this year i am just telling people to not buy me anything and if you need to do something donate to your fav charity or do something nice to help someone instead. - senstroll
My family and I have been doing that for the last 3 years. I haven’t bought my parents or siblings anything and they haven’t bought me anything. We just put in some money for a charity.
Takes a lot of stress away. |

I was reading that he may be coming to Minnesota next year. His contract expires April 30, and it's expected he'll be joining the Wild after that. With Zucker traded, now there's room for him to slot into the top-6. - Monkeypunk
Cool. I'm looking forward to seeing him play. Good for them they finally convinced him to make the jump. IIRC this current contract he's on was a 2 year contract, and there was a lot of speculation about him coming to the NHL when he signed it, so I won't fully believe it until I see him in a Wild uniform.
I've got him in my keeper league, kept for years now (we have spots for draftees), so I welcome it if he comes. |

really???? I always found NYE the easiest night of the year to get laid. At the bar. Before I was married.
Now granted, maybe I was getting laid every year because I managed to come across some depressed women, and they were a little more prone to some reckless and disgusting behaviour.
REgardless, it sure as hell wasn't depressing for me.
I went to a house party one year, and was hitting on a cop. It was looking really good, when a hotter chick started chatting me up. So I started working that angle. But then the hot one started puking. So I went back to the cop, and she called me on it. And wouldn't talk to me anymore. So I went back to the hot puker (who had cleared out her system) and still got laid. Easy. As. Pie. |

Not sure where you are getting ‘easily a 3rd line winger’. That guy has hands of stone. He is big and can skate and has decent defensive awareness but lets not get carried away. If he is easily a 3rd liner, does that mean he could be a 2nd liner? Come on... he probably has the potential to score about 15 goals max with those hands.
I like him on the 4th line for sure. But above that, meh. He would need to prove more... - Hockey_Reverend
4th liners do not score at half a point per game pace. |

Well who knows if that continues.
But yeah, I agree, I think the way he's played he'd be just fine on the 3rd line. Again, small sample size.
If he's on your second line, that's a problem for sure. At least at this point. |

Anyone else get the sense that if the Leafs lose tonight and Andersen plays poorly, the Toronto media will declare that there is a goaltender controversy in Toronto?
If ever Andersen needed to have a big game, it's tonight..

No.
Andersen is much better than soup.
Folks in the media have touched on this, but realize as of now, soup isnt a 1b. Hes a 2.
That could change if freddy sucks balls, but not a discussion now |
