It's not negative, it's simply the reality of the NHL. Players that small rarely make the NHL. The ones that do are usually elite level talents. Robertson has some talent but he's very small. Given how full the Leafs top-six is and how undersized he is to be a grinder, it's tough to see how or where he fits in, much less next season as some people are dreaming.

Jordin Tootoo was a highly motivated, hard working, undersized, heart and soul player with some talent. Scored 30 goals and 70 points in the WHL multiple times. Even played for team Canada at the WJC. What did he turn out to be in the NHL? A 4th liner.

People are allowed to dream and I'm allowed to be realistic. It's all good.

The guy has a 2mln caphit - which Leafs can easily add.
Thornton would be a great add for Leafs for the playoffs - I don't think there is anyone better available to give Leafs the additional +.
