You have a minimum of 2 more years where you control Domi, probably more, a RFA coming off a subpar season would probably be pleased with a fair 5 year contract

At this point I think they should just make trades on be a GM NHL 20 just for the sake of satisfying their need for trades....

They could trade him as a rental, sure
