No, disliking one thing does not mean you automatically like another. I like Benn and Fatburger as 3rd pairing guys. Nothing flashy, decent in limited minutes. Myers is just what he was last year, and the year before and every other year he wasn’t winning the Calder.

Agree to disagree.
I've seen him use that size and reach one on one effectively.
He's 2nd in goals from D (which we sorely lacked last year).
He's a massive improvement over the likes of Hutton, Sbisa, MDZ and even Benn who some on here were saying was just as good at 1/3 the price

I was happy with it then and am happy now.
Has been just what we needed, a steady Dman with size.
Of course he'll probably slow down near the end of the term, but i think he's helped improve the backend a lot this year.
That and Hughes.

Still hope we make some adjustments in the off season.

Agree with all of this, Myers has really helped out, not only does he have massive reach with his stick but he also adds a different dimension to the offensive side. Only issue is if no one backs him up the defense will get burned.

Just wondering, I agree with the consistent part, but last night was better.

I did notice that there were about 6-7 chances for open ice hits that the Canucks shied away from, I'm not talking taking someones head off, but if there is the opportunity to nail a guy in the neutral zone (shoulder to shoulder) take it, send him flying.

Now they start that and then they will be given more respect from other teams.
