Markstrom saving their asses time and time again is fun but it's totally masking how bad the team is defensively....there's a ton of work to do here yet. - Pacificgem
Yup. And when the heat turns up our team gets slapped around a bit. That's got to change too. |

I think last nights game showed they were aware of what happened the week previous and they wanted to change that. |

it was nice to see, but they have also done this before, shown they won't be pushed around a game or two after they get called out, and the fanbase loves it, and then they slip back into their old habits and get bullied a few games later.
Im hoping that Roussel keeps that edge going, the return of Ferland will give them a bit more of a back bone, and hopefully keeping Bailey and MacEwen close to the team and keeping Schaller and LE out will ignite the boys to stand a bit taller. |

Was at the game last night and it was definitely entertaining. D core is still evolving but that is natural given D prospects take longer to develop. Team is fun to watch, has things to learn and will keep getting better. I like the progress so far...complainers are only buzz killing themselves.
Zack looked solid, had good energy, and is much better away from the puck.
Bailey had good speed but has some work to do - was chasing the play a bit. He seems to have the physical tools but needs to build his confidence and his in game awareness.

I was think Nashville might try and move Bonino, or Chicago after they lose back to back games. - 1970vintage

I like Myers mixing it up even if he's not a "tough guy". Sheer size can be intimidating for sure, hope he keeps it up. |

Yup.
He's been solid.
Remember when everyone was hating on his signing?

Personally I still don't like the signing and think it will look bad long before his contract is done, but for now I am enjoying him living up to it. |

I was happy with it then and am happy now.
Has been just what we needed, a steady Dman with size.
Of course he'll probably slow down near the end of the term, but i think he's helped improve the backend a lot this year.
That and Hughes.
Still hope we make some adjustments in the off season. |

Yes I did, and it was nice to see. Let’s see them do that on a consistent basis and then I’ll start believing. |

I hope JB is taking a good look at upcoming UFA Dmen. Still plenty of turnover that needs to happen the next couple of years. |

They've been playing the whole season undermanned, why would they try to acquire someone now? - NorthNuck
Now that they split McD and Dr. Drai they actually have more balanced scoring. I mean, they could move RNH back to C for the time being, but that line has been good lately. |

Except when the puck is in his feet then he becomes a disaster. |

You must love Stetcher as a top 4 Dman then and his <2.5m |

Bailey sucked last night. Not sure what everyone else saw. He was fast but was just skating around aimlessly |

No, disliking one thing does not mean you automatically like another. I like Benn and Fatburger as 3rd pairing guys. Nothing flashy, decent in limited minutes. Myers is just what he was last year, and the year before and every other year he wasn’t winning the Calder. |

Could Hall get traded twice in the same season? If the Yotes fall further, would they move fatty as well? Imagine Kessel with Petey and Miller! |
